member of the week - Rachael Fisher

Name: Rachael Fisher

Age: 21

Where are you from: Ryde.

What is your occupation: Student & Customer Service Rep. AKA. Call Centre.

Do you like Kebabs: Yes - beef kebabs. Nom nom nom.

What were your lifts when you started: Squat: 30kg. Bench: 20kg. And I didn't know what a deadlift was.

What are your lifts now (Squat, Bench and Deadlift): Squat: 62.5kg. Bench: 37.5kg. Deadlift: 75kg. These are my PBs before I incurred a muscle injury from dancing and decided to travel around Europe.

Do you compete in lifting: Nope.

What is the most important thing you have learnt at PTC: To lift heavy ass weights!

Why do you train at PTC: Because most members have similar training goals and the atmosphere is very motivating.

How many curls can you do: I'm not even going to bother with this question...

Where did you train before PTC: Fernwood!

Why did you change from your previous gym: Because, 'Fernwood Foxes' (as they call their members) spent most of their time on treadmills. The weights section consisted of 8 machines, a few dumbbells and a smith machine. It was basically a gym designed for stay-at-home mums.

Can you briefly describe your average daily meals: Well I'm on KETO at the moment so -
Breakfast: Eggs (fried, poached or scrambled).
Morning tea: Fruit (limited), yogurt, cheese.
Lunch: Some sort of protein (200 grams) with salad.
Afternoon tea: Repeat morning tea. OR, chicken kebabs (the ones on a stick, not the ones you're thinking of Trent!)
Dinner: Some sort of protein again (200-300 grams) with salad or vegetables. OR, a meatza. (meat based pizza). I experimented with this for the first time last week. Highly recommended if you're carb-restricted.
And an extra protein shake if I've been to the gym.

What do you do outside of PTC: Nothing too crazy. Work, eat, play.

What are your goals: Hopefully to overtake Karen someday, haha.

If you didn’t spend all your time at PTC, you would be: Back to being a Fernwood Fox..?

Name one thing you would add/subtract/change about PTC: Well I think the general consensus would be to get a pizza oven?
